Sanctuary of Frozen Souls was born from the quiet spaces between music and memory. It is a realm where emotion is not restrained by language, and art is not bound by form.
Here, musicians, writers, painters, photographers, and dreamers come together — not to impress, but to express. It is a home for those who have felt deeply, loved silently, and created fearlessly.
The Sanctuary is more than a community — it is a living story, built on compassion, artistry, and the belief that even frozen souls can be warmed by art.
The vision behind Sanctuary of Frozen Souls is simple yet profound — to create a timeless space where global artists can connect beyond culture, religion, or geography.
It is a bridge between worlds — where a painter from Italy can collaborate with a musician from India, where a poet’s words can find rhythm in a composer’s melody.
Through music, storytelling, and collaboration, the Sanctuary seeks to remind the world that even in silence, beauty breathes.
Founded by Suraaj Parab, an internationally acclaimed, multiple award-winning neo-classical composer, pianist, and bassist from Mumbai, Sanctuary of Frozen Souls reflects his lifelong pursuit of emotional truth through art.
A GRAMMY® Voting Member since 2021, Suraaj’s music has travelled across languages and cultures — from the dunes of the Middle East to the warmth of Latin America. His works, including Usavat, Madha Rwt Rimal, and Lucharé Con Mi Corazón, have won international awards and touched hearts worldwide.
Trained by legendary bassist Karl Peters, Suraaj’s compositions are known for their cinematic soul and deep emotional resonance.
The Sanctuary was born from his desire to build something larger than himself — a place where creators from every corner of the world could unite in their shared vulnerability and passion for art.
Standing beside Suraaj in building the vision of Sanctuary of Frozen Souls is Sandeep Kulkarni — a gifted vocalist, and creative soul whose voice bridges cultures and emotions alike.
Known for his deeply expressive singing and refined artistry, Sandeep has become the emotional voice of many of Suraaj’s compositions, breathing life into stories written in languages of love and longing. From the Spanish ballad Lucharé Con Mi Corazón to the Marathi re-imagination of Bench of Frozen Memories, He is also a lead vocalist of Rusty Rickshaw, a Southern California-based band blending Rock, Folk, Indie, Sufi, and Fusion into original, soul-stirring music. his voice has carried feelings that words alone could never hold.
As Co-Founder, Sandeep embodies the Sanctuary’s belief that true music begins where ego ends. His humility, depth, and intuitive understanding of melody transform every collaboration into something sacred — a conversation between sound and silence.
Together, Suraaj and Sandeep continue to shape the Sanctuary as a space where the human voice and the human heart find their purest resonance.
"Every soul that freezes remembers something once alive and every creation here is an attempt to breathe it back into the world.”
